How to save public TikTok videos on iPhone

TokSave works in Safari without an app installation. It prepares an available MP4; Safari handles the download itself.

Save a video with Safari

  1. 1. Copy a public TikTok link. Use TikTok Share → Copy Link.
  2. 2. Paste the link into TokSave. Use the Paste control or paste into the downloader field.
  3. 3. Select an available MP4. The ready option is chosen for phone compatibility; a higher-quality file is prepared only when requested and available.
  4. 4. Save through Safari. Tap Download, then use Safari’s download arrow and Files to manage the file.

Files versus Photos

A browser download normally appears in Files first. Photos does not automatically import every downloaded MP4. Open the file from Files and use the iPhone sharing controls if you want to save it elsewhere.

If Safari opens the video instead

Use TokSave’s Open video recovery action, then use Safari’s share or save controls. This is a browser decision, not a promise that every file will appear in Photos automatically.

Only save public media you are allowed to download. Source availability and quality can vary by link.
